Swedish Medical Center is seeking an experienced Obesity Medicine physician to serve as the Medical Director for the Obesity Medicine Weight Loss Program in Seattle, Washington. Build upon an already impressive program with the resources of a large system, physician and administrative support, and excellent referral base. As part of The Swedish Digestive Health Institute, partner with Executive Medical Directors on clinical quality, safety and program growth initiatives. Work with the leadership of Bariatric Surgery and Endocrinology to develop a collaborative and coordinated approach to care, joining an incredible multidisciplinary team. This role will provide high-quality clinical care in obesity medicine, guidance and supervision to APCs, and develop and promote a comprehensive array of medical weight loss services all in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

• Board-Certified in Obesity Medicine and Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• 5+ years of obesity medicine experience preferred

• Passionate about medical weight loss with the desire to grow and develop a program

• Excellent communicator who will be an advocate for change and a champion for the department

• Previous experience in a leadership role preferred

Swedish Medical Center's First Hill campus is a 697-bed, general medical and surgical hospital in downtown Seattle. The largest of Swedish's five hospitals, First Hill is considered the main Swedish campus. In addition to the hospital and emergency department, the campus is home to the Swedish Cancer Institute and the Swedish Orthopedic Institute. The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including the area's largest childbirth center, NICU and specialty pediatric care.
