PHYSICIAN ADVISOR OPPORTUNITY
Sumter, SC

Prisma Health, the largest healthcare provider in South Carolina, seeks a Physician Advisor to join our community hospital in Sumter, SC.

Case Management and CDI duties, including but not limited to:

• Communicating with medical and other leaders to resolve denials 
• Conducting clinical reviews, and offering expert opinions on level of care 
• Reviewing PSI cases, writing appeals letters to include clinical input 
• Acting as a liaison between Case Management, CDI professionals, Coding, and the hospital’s Medical Staff to facilitate accurate and complete documentation for coding and abstracting of clinical data
