Assistant/Associate Professor - Clinical Scholar Pathway

Responsibilities:
The faculty member will serve as an academic hospitalist with a focus on clinical-education in the section of Hospital Medicine. Key responsibilities:
• Providing attending inpatient care
• Providing consultative care and medical co-management to other hospitalized patients
• Participating in rapid response and code coverage for inpatients
• Teaching, evaluating and mentoring medical students and resident physicians
• Participating in divisional and departmental efforts to improve patient safety, quality of care and/or medical education

Qualifications:
• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• ACLS certification
• Career experiences relevant to the position
• Record of engagement and excellence in teaching, quality, and service
• Ability to collaborate and contribute as part of multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to a career in academic
