Hospital Medicine – Assistant Professor/Clinical – Hospitalist

The Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio (UTHSA) is recruiting Hospitalists. The positions will hold a Faculty appointment of an Assistant Professor/Clinical level.

As an Assistant Professor/Clinical, your duties involve clinical work on housestaff and non-housestaff services at University Hospital as well as participating in medical student and resident education and other activities such as mentoring. All candidates require to have an MD or DO degree, completed 3 years of an ACGME certified Internal Medicine residency program and are Board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine. In addition, must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board and maintain a certification by the Drug Enforcement Administration for credentials with UTHSA and University Hospital.
