Academic Hospitalist - Internal Medicine Faculty - Norfolk, VA

Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) is seeking an Academic Hospitalist as an Assistant or Associate Professor within its Division of General Internal Medicine. This position is primarily clinical and based in Norfolk, Virginia. Faculty member will play an integral role in the education and training of residents and medical students. The position includes significant teaching opportunities and a competitive salary and benefits package. Mentorship and support will be available to excel in all areas of academic medicine including education, research, administrative, and quality improvement. We are seeking a highly qualified individual who is board-certified or board-eligible and has completed an ACGME certified residency program in Internal Medicine. Virginia medical license and DEA are required. The successful candidate will be committed to the provision of high-quality compassionate patient care, medical education, and clinical research.
