Join the Providence Medical Institute as a full-time Family or Internal Medicine physician in the Madrona neighborhood of Torrance, California. This is a busy Primary Care facility where all your appointments will be scheduled in advanced and where call is typically only 2 to 3 times per month and phone only. You will also enjoy weekends off with a schedule that offers a healthy work-life balance in Southern California.

Providence Medical Institute is a physician services organization with more than 200 physicians across 32 medical offices, including seven urgent care centers. Here, physicians work closely with six Providence medical centers, from the South Bay and Santa Monica to the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys. The institute is part of Providence, whose five hospitals in California have each won Healthgrades' Distinguished Hospital Award.

Torrance, population 145,000, is the eighth-largest city in Los Angeles County. About 25 miles southwest of downtown LA, Torrance is a blend of thriving high-tech industry and park-lined suburban neighborhoods. It is home to some of the best coastal golf courses and beaches in southern California. Torrance has the second-largest Japanese population in California, bringing abundant Asian restaurants and supermarkets to the area.
