Where You'll Work

Providence Milwaukie Hospital, one of five Providence hospitals in the Portland area, is a full-service, 77-bed community hospital offering holistic care with robust inpatient and outpatient services. Actively engaged in the community, Providence Milwaukie Hospital has close ties with the Providence Cancer Institute and a well-respected family medicine residency program that emphasizes care for the underserved.

Where You'll Live

Milwaukie, population 21,000, is a lovely suburb of Portland. The pristine Clackamas River flows through forested valleys south of Milwaukie; the mighty Willamette River meanders by to the west; downtown Portland lies just 12 miles north; and Mount Hood and its deep green foothills rise to the east. Milwaukie is choice because housing is more affordable than in Portland proper, yet residents can easily access all the city has to offer.

Who You'll Work For

Providence is a nationally recognized, comprehensive health care organization spanning seven states with a universal mission - to provide compassionate care to all who need its services, especially the poor and vulnerable. Its 119,000-plus caregivers/employees serve in 51 hospitals, more than 800 clinics and a comprehensive range of health and social services. Providence: one name, one family, one extraordinary health system.
