Providence Health is seeking a Per-Diem, board-certified/board-eligible Hospitalist physician to join a dedicated and high-functioning team at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. You will be supporting a team at a critical access hospital where you will see inpatient cases only. With highly flexible FTE, you can enjoy a healthy work-life balance in Hood River, Oregon.
Where You'll Work
Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, with 25 beds and more than 70 providers, serves five counties in the Columbia River Gorge. With an inpatient satisfaction rating in the 95th percentile, it's no surprise Providence Hood River has received numerous awards, including Top 100 Critical Access Hospital in America from The National Rural Health Association. Providence Hood River was also awarded the Practice Greenhealth's Partner Recognition Award for environmental excellence.

Named for its proximity to the Columbia River and Mount Hood, Hood River is a charming, growing community of 6,000. Sixty miles east of Portland in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, it's known for its superb windsurfing as well as hiking, skiing, biking and fishing. Thousands visit Hood River every summer to experience its "Fruit Loop," featuring wines, apples, berries, ciders, vegetables, cherries, apples, pears and lavender fields in the hills and valleys above the river.
