• 30-35 average total daily census
• 5 average daily and nightly admissions
• 86 hospital beds
• 9 ICU beds - open ICU
• 2 Physicians and 1 NP/PA each day (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
• 1 Nocturnist Physician (7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.)
• Specialty on call 24/7
• 7 on / 7 off block schedule
• EMR: McKesson Terigan
• No procedures required; ED and Hospitalist run codes

Facility Information

Harris Regional Hospital is an 86-bed acute care facility located in Sylva, North Carolina. With a long-standing reputation for excellent care, this facility has been providing care to western North Carolina residents since 1929. Harris offers five major service lines, including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, and emergency medicine, as well as sports medicine, physical therapy, imaging and laboratory services, and many other areas of subspecialty care.
