Practice Details:
- Block schedule, modified to accommodate part-time hospitalist providers
- 24/7 hospital coverage
- Hospitalists see an average of 12-15 patients per day shift
- 24 to 28 bed med/surg unit includes co-management of Orthopedic Surgery patients (15% of workload)
- 10-bed ICU with average 2-5 critical care patients
- ICU coverage including management of sepsis, NIPPV and ventilator management of intubated patients with available Intensivist support via Tele-ICU - University of Minnesota Physicians
- Hospital consults available 7 days/wk from General, Ortho and OB/GYN Surgeons
- Specialty consultation services available weekdays from Hem/Onc, Palliative Care, Urology, ENT, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology
- Telephone specialty consultation available anytime from the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center and UMP Heart community Cardiologists
- We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine (preferred), Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency training program, or Family Medicine training program
- Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
- Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
