NURSE PRACTITIONER (ACNP): Observation/Inpatient Hospitalist

This position is primarily based out of Banner Ironwood Medical Center (BIMC) located in northern Pinal County east of Queen Creek with a population of 100,000 plus residents and growing. Proximity to the San Tan Mountains, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, and Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus are just a few of the exceptional qualities that make northern Pinal County and Queen Creek communities an ideal place to live, work and play.

Banner Goldfield Medical Center (BGMC) is a 30-bed hospital that provides first-class health care to the residents of and communities surrounding Apache Junction. Patients can count on the collaboration and innovative processes and technologies that are the foundation of Banner’s ability to provide industry-leading care. BGMC also serves as a gateway to Banner’s diverse specialized services.

Requirements and details include:

• 2+ years experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner 
• 7days on/7days off schedule (14-15 shifts required monthly)
• 12-hour shifts/includes one week of nights at Goldfield Medical Center (7pm - 7am)
• DEA  with prescriptive authority required 
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
