WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Find fulfillment with Franciscan! Our close-knit, collaborative hospitalist teams are growing across Indiana and Illinois. Franciscan Health is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalists to meet the growing demand of our established hospitalist programs. We have full-time opportunities throughout Indiana and South Suburban Chicago.
HOSPITALIST DAYS FULL TIME
- Lafayette, Indiana
- Michigan City, Indiana
- Olympia Fields, Illinois (Internal Medicine Faculty) – Closed ICU
- Daytime Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (No required nights)
- Average inpatient volume: 16 – 18 patients per day
- Open ICU with easy access to specialist consultation
- Epic electronic health record (Franciscan Health scored above the 90th percentile for Provider satisfaction for the inpatient Epic system)
- Strong collegial support from team and specialists
- Internal and external moonlighting permitted
- H1-B visa sponsorship if needed
- Competitive pay and benefits
- Recent experience with intubation preferred, but not required. Must be willing to learn.
- ACLS/BCLS required for Code Blue and Rapid Responses
NOCTURNIST FULL TIME (156 – 182 SHIFTS)
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Schedule: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- Admission volume: 8-9 per shifts
- Swing-shift support most nights of the week. Tele-nocturnist cross-coverage program in development.
- Recent experience with intubation preferred, but not required. Must be willing to learn.
- ACLS/BCLS required for Code Blue and Rapid Responses
- Open ICU with easy access to specialist consultation
- Epic electronic health record (Franciscan Health scored above the 90th percentile for Provider satisfaction for the inpatient Epic system)
- Strong collegial support from specialists
- Internal and external moonlighting permitted
- H1-B visa sponsorship if needed
BLENDED SHIFTS
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Schedule: 7 on and 7 off;
- Day 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (146 shifts annually)
- Swing 2:00PM – 10:00 PM (12 shifts annually)
- Night 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (24 shifts annually)
- Typical Inpatient volume: 16 – 18 patients per day on days
- Will respond to code blue and rapid response teams
- Must be able to perform procedures or willing to learn: central lines and intubations
- ACLS/BLS required
- Limited ICU Setting (All admissions require Pulmonary/Critical Care Consult)
- Epic electronic health record (Franciscan Health scored above the 90th percentile for Provider satisfaction for the inpatient Epic system)
H1-B visa sponsorship if needed - Strong sub-specialty support
