Job Details
Providence Medical Group (PMG) is seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician to join an established team at PMG Camas in Southwest Washington. You'll be part of an integrated, team-based care model including a behavioral health provider, clinical pharmacy, care management, and an outstanding operational support team with many years of experience. A great role for those looking for a family-orientated community with great schools (and no income tax!), situated on the border of East Vancouver and just across the river from Portland, Oregon.
Where You'll Work
Providence Medical Group is an organization of employed physicians, with more than 90 clinics across the state of Oregon and Southwest Washington. Its 1,500+ providers possess a wide range of clinical expertise, including Family and Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, Dermatology and Occupational Medicine. At Providence Medical Group, patients enjoy close-to-home access to dedicated providers in primary, specialty or urgent care clinics, with clinical and operational support from centralized Providence programs.
Where You'll Live
Camas, Washington, is 10 miles northeast of Portland and is determined to retain its natural beauty even as it grows. Highlights include a dozen parks, an extensive system of trails and gentle forested hills offering panoramic views of Portland, Mt. Hood and the nearby Columbia River Gorge. The city has worked extensively to revitalize its historic downtown, which contributed to its ranking in the Top 100 Best Places to Live by Money Magazine.
Who You'll Work For
Providence is a nationally recognized, comprehensive health care organization spanning seven states with a universal mission - to provide compassionate care to all who need its services, especially the poor and vulnerable. Its 119,000-plus caregivers/employees serve in 51 hospitals, more than 800 clinics and a comprehensive range of health and social services. Providence: one name, one family, one extraordinary health system.
