Job Details
Providence Medical Group is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Hospitalist physician to join a dedicated and high-functioning regional team in Portland, Oregon. You will be part of the Hospitalist Program that oversees several different facilities across the greater Portland area. As such, this position offers excellent professional growth potential as you will have the chance to experience a variety of different sites and teams including ICU and critical care support. Join a strong, compassionate and mission-driven organization while elevating your career in Portland, Oregon.
Where You'll Work
Providence employs Hospitalists in eight facilities across Oregon, allowing hospital-medicine experts to work on-site and ensure patients receive the best possible care. The Hospitalists in this program work collaboratively with other medical and surgical specialists to ensure the coordination of patient evaluations, treatment planning and overall care. With a commitment to lifelong learning, sharing knowledge and working closely with patients' primary care providers, Hospitalists maintain continuity of care before, during and after hospitalization.
Where You'll Live
Oregon City, the traditional end of the famous Oregon Trail, is now an attractive suburb of Portland. Set at the confluence of the Clackamas and Willamette rivers, Oregon City offers a quiet, scenic alternative to Portland while remaining close enough to benefit from its notable public transit system and abundance of cultural amenities. Oregon City's many parks, historical sites and community events offer year-round entertainment.
