Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital serving the greater Cambridge, Massachusetts area and an affiliate of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a full-time Hospitalist. A Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician is being sought -- clinical options include day-time and afternoon swing shifts.
The selected candidate will provide clinical care and teaching of medical students and medical residents in a busy community teaching hospital. Hospitalist services include but are not limited to inpatient care, internal medicine consultations, rounding, chart documentation, and communication. Each Hospitalist must possess outstanding teaching skills as they will be integral to the educational efforts within the department. Hospitalists are expected to have strong mentoring skills and an ability to provide academic and scholarly direction to medical students and residents. Candidates must be committed to providing exceptional patient care and serve as a professional, dependable, hard-working, and collegial team member. At the present time, priority consideration is being given to candidates with more immediate availability, however, all interested candidates will be considered including graduating Residents and Fellows.

The Hospitalist selected for this role will be eligible for a faculty appointment as an Instructor or Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School commensurate with experience and qualifications.
