The Physician will oversee and manage Hospitalist patients, including potential consults and work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team: Surgeons, Intensivists Subspecialists, and support staff.

The Hospitalists of Modesto Medical Group currently has two locations: Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, CA and Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, Ca. This excellent position would be based at both locations. Doctors Medical Center (DMC) of Modesto, is a 465-bed multispecialty Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, Emanuel Medical Center (EMC) is a 209-bed acute care hospital..

Employed position (W-2)

• Group: Hospitalists of Modesto Medical Group, Inc. 
• Facilitate day time admissions and answer calls/pages from the nursing units
• Average of 16-19 patients per day at both DMC and EMC 
• Employer contributes 7% of annual income toward pension plan (subject to IRS cap) 
• $20,000 sign-on, CME allowance, full benefits and malpractice coverage 
• Flexible Scheduling • Day Shift time: 07:00-19:00, Full Time = 14 Shifts per month 
• Night shift time: 1700: to 0500 OR 19:00-0700. Two physicians and a NP/PA are staffed at night.
