Job Details
MedOne is setting the standard for patient care. We are an independent, hospital medicine practice of more than 160 physicians and advanced practice clinicians, as well as more than 30 administrative staff, who are united by a single purpose—to make healthcare better. It’s been our mission from day one, and we are relentless in our pursuit to improve the delivery of high-quality care for our patients and our partners. We partner with five acute facilities and more than 90 skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living facilities. Our intent is to continue to grow and to remain a physician-owned and physician-led private practice.
We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer who shares our uncommon passion for excellence and commitment to put team before self in pursuit of making patient care the best it can be.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides strategic vision for future growth and development by identifying and evaluating organization and market trends
- Provides recommendations for strategic plans and action steps, and continually assesses progress toward goals and objectives
- Works with organization leaders to develop and implement business plans and strategic initiatives
- Provides oversight of the operational and financial performance of the organization
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners, including hospital and facility administration and vendor representatives, to achieve common goals
- Leads contract negotiations with partners and vendors
- Provides oversight and guidance of internal initiatives and committees
- Fosters collaborative environment for continuous process improvement and growth
- Focuses on positive employee and provider engagement and ensures the MedOne culture is maintained
- Engages physicians and organization leaders in professional development opportunities
- Serves on organization, facility, local, and/or national committees/ boards as appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Physician executive (MD/DO) – IM and/or specialty training, FP, or EM preferred
- Advanced degree (MBA, MHA) preferred
Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years C-Suite experience interacting with physician practices, hospitals and/or healthcare systems
- Experience in Ohio and/or a network of Ohio health system contacts preferred
- Demonstrated strong strategic planning, healthcare operations, business development, and financial management acumen
