Summary of Opportunity

The Department of Medicine at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine is now taking applications from team-oriented internal medicine physicians at all experience levels to join its established hospitalist program.

About the Job:

Responsible for providing:

  • Direct patient care and consultative and co-management services at Temple University Hospital - Main (TUH) and Temple University Hospital – Episcopal Campus. Clinical and didactic instruction of medical students, residents, fellows and other trainees as assigned.

Time split between teaching and non-teaching service is flexible, based on clinical/academic interest and experience.

TUH is a 746 bed tertiary and quaternary level acute care facility.

Candidate Qualifications

  • M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent Completion of an Internal Medicine residency from an ACGME accredited program prior to their start date. BC/BE in Internal Medicine prior to start date. Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to employment Language proficiency in Spanish, Russian or Vietnamese is highly desirable, but not required.
