Pediatric Hospital Medicine, Nocturnist Positions Available

Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) in the Division of General Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) is seeking BC/BE pediatricians and hospitalists to provide high-quality care overnight for children  hospitalized on our medical service, including general pediatric patients, patients with complex medical conditions, and post-operative patients.

Nocturnists will embed fully into our welcoming PHM team and culture.  PHM faculty lead and participate in exciting local, national, and international projects on clinical operations, quality improvement, translational research, medical education, informatics, finance, and advocacy for a variety of hospital medicine topics and patient populations, including children with medical complexity.  Our PHM team is active socially, through a variety of group activities, including book club, exercise events, fundraisers, and other get-togethers.

 

Fellowship training and/or pediatric hospital medicine board certification is not required for this position. Boston Children’s Hospital is a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School and the pediatric staff will obtain an academic appointment at the level of Instructor or above.
