Job Summary:

We are seeking a Hospitalist to join our dynamic group of physicians. We are launching a Co-Management Service with our orthopedic and trauma colleagues. We are seeking a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills and an academic interest in perioperative medicine to make this program a success. Westchester Medical Center Advanced Physician Services is a collegial group responsible for managing the inpatient medicine services and consultative services. Westchester Medical Center, in Valhalla, New York, is the major teaching hospital for New York Medical College. We also are the primary educators for an Internal Medicine Residency Program that trains 70 house officers.

Qualifications / Requirements:

The candidate we seek must be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine, have a record of teaching and excellent clinical care; experience in research (health services, QI, clinical research) is desirable. This is a hospital-based position with comprehensive benefits, including malpractice and an academic appointment with New York Medical College. Geriatrics training is preferable, but not required.
