Nephrology Fellow

Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology has an opening for a first-year nephrology fellow.  We are seeking ACGME/ACGME-I accredited candidates for a start date of July 1, 2024. The fellowship is a 24-month program leading to board eligibility in nephrology.

The program provides significant depth of experience in ICU nephrology and CRRT; home dialysis (PD and HHD); apheresis; and research opportunities. We have an active transplant program including kidney, kidney/pancreas, and liver/kidney.  Elective opportunities are available in critical care nutrition, nephropathology, pediatric nephrology, and a metabolic stone clinic. Prior fellows have also done cardiorenal electives and additional critical care time including in the heart & vascular ICU.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an ACGME- or ACGME-I accredited internal medicine residency
• US citizenship, green card, or J1 visa.
