Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking a BC/BE internal medicine physician interested in working as a nocturnist on its established hospitalist team. Gundersen is an award winning, physician-led, integrated health system, employing over 1,000 clinicians.
Highlights:
- 182 shifts per year (primary schedule 7 on 7 off) consisting of purely nights (11:00 pm – 7:30 am)
- Two nocturnists are assigned during these shifts, affording a manageable workload
- Primary responsibility is on-site adult (admit and cross cover) inpatient care
- Nocturnists also provide telemedicine (admits and cross cover) services to our critical access hospitals during these shifts
