The Farber Institute for Neurosciences at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Philadelphia, PA is recruiting BC/BE candidates in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine to join as a nocturnist a growing team of hospitalists who participate in the co-management and consultative care of neurosurgical patients in the Farber Hospitalist Service, Division of the Department of Neurological Surgery.
Successful candidates should have demonstrated skills in inpatient medicine, teamwork, and teaching, as well as an interest in quality improvement, patient safety, and case management. Faculty development in the areas of intermediate intensive care management, palliative care, preoperative assessment, clinical research and leadership training is available and encouraged.
A highly competitive salary, generous benefits package, malpractice insurance and CME stipend is provided. A primary appointment in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with a secondary appointment in Neurological Surgery commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience will be awarded.
