Nocturnist (3-309-1103)

The Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting a full time nocturnist. This position will provide overnight coverage on our non-teaching services. We staff our observation unit, general internal medicine, intermediate care, and transplant medicine services. We also provide medical consultations for general medicine, immediate care, transplant medicine, and co-management of surgical services. Please indicate in your response if you have a special interest in transplant medicine.

Candidates must be board certified/eligible in internal medicine and eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland. This position also requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), a strong commitment to patient care and education, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
