Certified Nurse Midwife

Seeking a full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife to join a shared group practice in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. This team aims to eliminate health disparities and improve perinatal outcomes through independent, anti-racist, trauma-informed, evidence-based midwifery care. This is a caring team of midwives who collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, RNs, IBCLCs and support staff who are committed to midwifery. In this role, you will help the group manage 40-50 deliveries per month in a large tertiary care center. The practice has a low c-section rate and excellent perinatal outcomes. Ideal candidate is adaptable, mission-oriented and can work independently with minimal support.

• Experienced full-scope midwife preferred but new grads encouraged to apply
• AMCB Certification, active DEA, WA State RN/ARNP license and certification from an accredited Nurse Midwifery program required.
• Mix of perinatal care, GYN problem visits and annual exams, family planning, and lactation
• Expect a 12-hour call shift, two clinic shifts per week
• Competitive compensation package includes 5 weeks PTA, salary and bonuses, 401K match, health care and CME allowance

Swedish Medical Center's First Hill campus is a 697-bed, general medical and surgical hospital in downtown Seattle. The largest of Swedish's five hospitals, First Hill is considered the main Swedish campus. In addition to the hospital and emergency department, the campus is home to the Swedish Cancer Institute and the Swedish Orthopedic Institute. The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including the area's largest childbirth center, NICU and specialty pediatric care.
