SCP Health is seeking a Medical Director to oversee our Hospitalist program at AdventHealth in Lake Wales, Florida. Additionally, SCP Health is recruiting staff Hospitalists to join our growing team at this facility.

Medical Director

SCP Health’s clinical leaders spearhead our efforts to remain a trailblazer in delivering consistent, high-quality, dependable care. Our Medical Directors receive excellent internal support from our SCP clinical leadership team and utilize resources such as MySCP Cares billing app, SCP University for continued CME and leadership development, and participation in our annual Medical Leadership Conference which is attended by all clinical leaders across our organization. As Medical Director, you will lead and mentor a team of 4 full-time Hospital Medicine Physicians and 2 NP/PAs.

Overview of Hospitalist Program:

• 7on/7off Block Schedule with nights covered by telehospitalists
• Respond to Rapid Response & Codes
• Hospitalists are not required to perform procedures
• 15 shifts per month
• Open ICU – ICU Physicians manage vents
• Full Sub-Specialty Support
• EMR: Cerner currently (EPIC go-live Q1 2022)
