Boston Children’s Hospital Medicine

Hospital Medicine and the Division of General Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) are seeking clinically and academically oriented BC/BE Pediatricians (including those trained in Medicine-Pediatric programs) and Pediatric Hospitalists to join our longstanding, thriving inpatient program. The program accounts for approximately 20% of admissions to Boston Children’s Hospital, and is one of the major inpatient teaching sites for BCH Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Complex Care fellows, residents of the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics, and students from Harvard Medical School.

Hospital Medicine encompasses six inpatient teams, including general teams and teams dedicated to children with medical complexity, who are served by our robust Complex Care program. Hospital Medicine also covers an inpatient med-psych unit, and co-manages postoperative patients with a variety of surgical programs. Hospital Medicine faculty are active, accomplished, and nationally recognized in research, medical education, quality improvement, medical informatics, and healthcare policy. Opportunities for career development in these areas are abundant. BCH is a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School and the pediatric staff will obtain an academic appointment at the level of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor.
