What you'll like about this role:
  • Hospital-employed, full-time position with a consistent 7-on/7-off schedule (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
  • Work alongside dedicated nocturnists, a Pulm/Critical Care physician, and an experienced NP who also works 7-on/7-off.
  • Typical daily census averages 15 patients with a 1:5 nursing ratio (adjusted for acuity).
  • Strong telemedicine support for critical care and pulmonology, plus a full panel of on-call specialists.
  • Robust EMR and efficient workflows to help you focus on patient care.
  • Procedure experience is a plus but not required.

About the hospital:
  • 36 inpatient beds, including a 10-bed open ICU.
  • 2 cardiac cath lab suites and an 8-bed pre/post-procedure unit.
  • 5 ORs plus a 4 OR Surgery Center, 5 observation beds, and an 8-bed Emergency Department staffed by experienced clinicians.

Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Montana medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Experience in hospital medicine; procedural skills preferred.
  • Strong communicator who values teamwork and problem solving.

Compensation & benefits:
  • Competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • 401(k) with a generous employer match.
  • Sign-on and relocation bonus.
  • Generous vacation and sick leave.
  • CME allowance and paid professional dues.
  • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
