- Licenses/Certs: Active medical license in TX; board certification in OB/GYN preferred
- Experience: At least 2 years of hospitalist or OB experience preferred
- Pay Rate: $195.00/hour (W-2, paid weekly via direct deposit)
- Benefits: Comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick time per law, licensure and certification reimbursements, travel reimbursements (if applicable), robust referral bonus program, and a dedicated support team at VHS
- Provide obstetric hospitalist coverage, including antepartum and postpartum care
- Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to coordinate patient management
- Monitor laboring patients and respond to obstetric emergencies
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency responses
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols
Required:
- Valid medical license in Texas
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Minimum of 2 years hospitalist or OB experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a hospitalist role or with obstetric emergencies
- BLS/ACLS certifications
