Join our dedicated team at a thriving Labor & Delivery practice located at St. Joseph Warren Hospital in Warren, Ohio. This facility offers a supportive and collaborative environment, focused on providing exceptional care for both low and high-risk obstetrics patients. With a growing service demand, we are seeking a skilled physician to help deliver quality healthcare until we can expand our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care and support in a Labor & Delivery setting.
- Handle routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal births and C-sections.
- Offer decision-making expertise for high-risk pregnancies and perform necessary procedures.
- Work collaboratively with midwives and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, covering midwife shifts as needed.
- Supervise any unassigned patients that may come through the emergency department.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet patient needs.
- State of Ohio medical license (or willing to obtain).
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications highly preferred.
- Self-Query NPDB report required upon presentation (within the last 30 days).
