Hospitalist - Full-Time
Location: Astoria, OR
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Overview:
•Seeking Hospitalists to join an established hospitalist division in a coastal community setting
•Opportunity to provide care in a Critical Access Hospital with academic affiliation
•Physician-led program with a strong focus on person-centered care
•Stable and growing organization with strong financial support
• Practice Details:
•Emphasis on work-life balance with a 158 annual shift requirement
•Average of 13.2 shifts per month (12-hour shifts including days and nights)
•Tele-intensivists available for ICU patient consultations
•Collaborative hospitalist division with daily Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support
• Compensation and Benefits:
•Shift-based compensation model with additional differential for night shifts
•$20,000 hiring bonus
•$5,000 annual CME stipend
•Relocation bonus or hospital-provided housing during scheduled shifts
•Comprehensive benefits package including retirement plan options with employer matching contributions
• Qualifications:
•MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
•Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
•Active, unrestricted Oregon medical license
•DEA certificate
•ACLS certification
