EMR system in use is EPIC. The role involves coverage for routine and complex obstetrics, including C-sections, VBACs, and emergency procedures.

- Shift: 24-hour in-house shifts (Friday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM)

- Licensure/Certifications: Ohio medical license preferred; Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Experience: Prior hospitalist experience highly preferred
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour

What You ll Do
- Provide laborist coverage within the hospital s OB/GYN department
- Manage deliveries, C-sections, and high-risk pregnancies
- Collaborate with onsite labor & delivery nurses and midwives
- Perform OB ultrasounds, fetal monitoring, and emergency obstetric procedures
- Support hospital staff in routine and complex obstetric cases
- Participate in call coverage for labor and delivery, generally 2 weekends per month
What You Need
- Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Minimum of 2 years hospitalist or laborist experience
- Ability to perform OB surgical procedures and interpret fetal monitoring
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations
