Job Details
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, located in beautiful Spartanburg, South Carolina, is seeking OB Hospitalists (Nocturnists) to join a new and rapidly growing program. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume, well-supported clinical environment while enjoying an excellent work-life balance with a nocturnist schedule.
Program Highlights:
Busy 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit with over 3,800 deliveries annually and 12,000 OBED encounters
Support from an OBGYN residency program, providing opportunities for teaching and collaboration
Hospitalists attend all deliveries, emergency OB consults, and provide coverage for a 6-bed OBED
Double physician coverage model with Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) support
24/7 in-house OB anesthesia, Level III NICU, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) availability
Role Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for OBED/emergency and unassigned patients
Deliver call coverage and assist private OB/GYN physicians with deliveries and gynecologic emergencies
Collaborate with private OB/GYNs, who retain care of their own post-operative patients
Schedule:
Full-time: 12-14 shifts per 4-week block
12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
Compensation & Benefits:
Earning potential exceeding $400,000 annually
$50,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and student loan forgiveness available
$6,000 CME allowance
Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage

Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
