  • Supervise and collaborate closely with NP and PA colleagues.
  • Document all patient care in Epic.

Typical support and environment:
  • Epic EMR in use.
  • Critical care and hospital-based specialty backup available.
  • Day coverage: two physicians and two NPPAs (shifts include 7a-5p and 8a-6p).
  • Night coverage: one physician (7p-7a) and one NPPA (6p-4a).

  • Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, AOBIM, or AOMFM.
  • ACLS required.
  • Completion of a 3-year residency in EM, FM, or IM.
  • Must show recent clinical activity: at least 30 patient encounters in the past 12 months, or residency/fellowship activity within the last 24 months.
  • Case logs from the previous 2 years and documentation of 40 CME hours within the last 2 years required.
  • Must be able to serve as supervising or backup physician for NP/PA providers.
  • Telehealth experience not required.
  • Be prepared to present an active state license, board certification, DEA, and CSR (if applicable) at onboarding.

Privileges, compliance, and logistics:
  • Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges availability TBD.
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice are covered.
