North East Arizona Near Navajo Nation A rewarding locum tenens opportunity is available for Hospitalist and Nocturnist Physicians to provide inpatient care services in a rural, underserved community in Northeast Arizona near the Navajo Nation. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working in a mission-driven healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient Hospitalist and/or Nocturnist coverage
  • Manage admissions, rounding, and discharges
  • Evaluate and treat adult patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
  • Complete timely EMR documentation
  • Ensure smooth patient handoffs and continuity of care
  • Deliver culturally sensitive care in a rural setting
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Current DEA registration
  • BLS & ACLS certifications
  • Recent hospitalist or nocturnist experience
  • Ability to obtain federal credentialing
Preferred
  • Experience in rural, tribal, or underserved settings
  • Prior Indian Health Service (IHS) experience
  • Comfortable working independently in low-resource environments
