Hospitalist - ICU
Location: Newark, Ohio
General Description
•Seeking a Hospitalist to join a multi-specialty physician group in a community-focused healthcare setting
•Opportunity to work in a non-profit, mission-driven environment dedicated to improving community health and well-being
•Practice in a modern facility offering a full spectrum of patient care services, including emergency medicine, cancer care, heart health, maternity, and mental health services
•Collaborative and collegial work environment with a team of 100+ physicians across multiple specialties
•Strong emphasis on patient safety, quality care, and use of advanced medical technology
•Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in patient care
Position Details
•Full-time position with day shift schedule
•7 on / 7 off block schedule with 12-hour shifts
•Semi-closed ICU model (Pulmonary/Critical Care coverage during daytime)
•Responsible for codes and procedures
•Procedural skills preferred
•Single-hospital coverage
Key Responsibilities
•Provide comprehensive inpatient care to hospitalized patients
•Manage ICU-level patients in a semi-closed ICU setting
•Respond to codes and perform necessary procedures
•Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
•Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and adherence to safety standards
Qualifications
•Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency or fellowship completion)
•Eligible for Ohio medical licensure
•Strong clinical and procedural skills preferred
Additional Details
