We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to join our dynamic team at a top-tier teaching facility in Toledo, Ohio. This state-of-the-art hospital provides a robust labor and delivery service, known for its collaboration between OB residents and nursing staff. With a strong commitment to patient care, you will be part of a facility that handles a significant volume of high-risk pregnancies, providing you with invaluable experience and professional growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including management of low and high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring and conduct necessary ultrasound assessments.
- Collaborate with OB residents, midwives, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist in gynecological procedures, including surgeries and minor office procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation using the EPIC EMR system.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and weekend coverage as required.
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Required)
- Valid Ohio Medical License (Required)
- BLS and ACLS certified (Required)
- Experience in a level 1 trauma center is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-Query NPDB pulled within 30 days of presentation (Required)
- Current Ohio Medical License (Required)
- Board Certification in OB/GYN (Required)
- BLS and ACLS certification (Required)
