Job Description Hospitalist Physician

Texas 24-Hour Shift Model $1,600 per Shift
Low Census Call From Home No Residents

She Recruits is partnering with a community-based acute care hospital in Texas to recruit a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist (IM or FM) for a highly manageable inpatient service.

This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking lower volume, predictable compensation, and the ability to take call from home after rounding.

Compensation

$1,600 per 24-hour shift

Physician rounds during the day and may go home with call coverage overnight.

1099 structure.

Schedule Structure
24-hour shift model
Morning/day rounding onsite
On-call availability overnight (remote from home)
No residents

This is a lifestyle-friendly structure with limited overnight burden due to low census.

Clinical Environment
Open ICU
No procedures required
Low-volume inpatient service
Smaller, collaborative hospital setting

This role requires confident independent decision-making but benefits from lower patient load and manageable acuity.

Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Hospitalist experience preferred
ACLS & BLS required
Texas license or eligibility
