Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to hospitalized adult patients. The hospitalist will manage acute and chronic medical conditions, coordinate care across specialties, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered treatment throughout the hospital stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and diagnostic evaluation.
- Coordinate patient care with consulting specialists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services.
- Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Respond to rapid response events and clinical emergencies as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active medical license to practice in State .
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in inpatient medicine.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
- Hospital-based inpatient practice.
- Shift-based schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exposure to a broad range of acute medical conditions.
