Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team in Palm Springs, California. This is a permanent position with flexible scheduling and excellent support. Enjoy practicing in a beautiful desert community where most people vacation!
Position Details:
- Full-time: 7.5 (24-hour in-house) shifts/month ( 2190 hours annually)
- Part-time: 5.5 (24-hour in-house) shifts/month ( 1560 hours annually, still benefit eligible)
- Always 2 OB Hospitalists in-house 24/7 (never on shift alone)
- Average: 60 deliveries/month
- Level III NICU (30 beds; newborns 23 weeks+)
- Responsibilities: Delivery attendance, OB triage, patient management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, and ER coverage. Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical students
Requirements:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- California license (or willing to obtain)
- OB Hospitalist experience preferred
- Must live locally or be willing to relocate
- DEA required before start
- Not accepting locums or visa candidates
