- Role: Nocturnist Hospitalist
- Specialty: Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
- Status: BE/BC required
- Kenansville, NC (Eastern North Carolina)
- Approximately 45 minutes from Wilmington, NC
- Close to North Carolina beaches and Raleigh
- Cost of living below national average
- Shift Length: 14-hour nocturnist shifts
- Schedule Options:
- 3 shifts per week, or
- 6 shifts every other week
- Average Nightly Admissions: 6
- ICU Coverage: Open ICU (9 beds)
- Hospitalist nocturnist coverage
- Open ICU with tele-intensivist support
- ICU procedures include:
- Vent management
- Lumbar puncture
- Central lines
- Specialty backup includes:
- General Surgery, Cardiology, ENT, Ortho
- OB/GYN, GI, Nephrology, Ophthalmology
- Sleep Medicine, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy
- 81-bed community hospital
- Established Med-Peds hospitalist program:
- 6 physicians
- 1 advanced practice provider
- Fully integrated Epic EMR
- Employment by Physicians
- Part of a growing 9-hospital physician-led health system
- Board Certification: Internal Medicine or Med-Peds (BE/BC)
- State License: North Carolina
- EMR Experience: Epic preferred
