- Position Duration: Permanent
- Shift: Approximately 7.5 24-hour in-house shifts per month ( 2190 hours/year); flexible option available
- Hours/Week: Varies based on schedule, standard full-time
- Employment Type: Full-time
- License/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
- Experience: Preference for recent obstetrics hospitalist experience
- Hourly Rate: $150/hour (equivalent to approximately $328,500 annually for full-time)
- Pay package discussed upon application
- Additional bonus potential (discussed during interview)

- Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements
- Attend approximately 60 deliveries per month at a busy, Level III NICU hospital
- Provide obstetric coverage, including delivery attendance, triage, and patient management
- Assist during surgical procedures and fetal monitoring
- Support high-risk obstetric patients in collaboration with MFM specialists
- Manage OB triage and respond to ED coverage needs
- Participate in educational activities with residents, fellows, and medical students
- Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered team environment
Required:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license for California
- At least 1 year of OB hospitalist experience preferred
Preferred:
- Experience working in a high-volume obstetric setting
- Ability to work flexible, 24-hour shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
