What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists, providing clinical oversight and mentorship
- Supervise newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
- Participate in 24/7 on-call coverage utilizing a round and go model, with calls from home
- Perform circumcisions and other pediatric procedures as needed
- Offer expert pediatric consultations to the Emergency Department for timely assessments and treatment planning
- Collaborate with Neonatologists and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research to enhance patient outcomes
- Foster a collaborative team environment and promote best practices across the department
What You Need:
- Ohio Medical License and Board Certification in Pediatrics
- Minimum 5 years of Pediatric hospitalist experience, leadership experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Leadership qualities and a commitment to continuous improvement
