With a focus on adult inpatients, you'll manage an average census of 15 patients per night shift, including 2 admissions. Job Responsibilities
  • Provide night-time call coverage
  • Admit and manage an average of 15 adult inpatients per shift
  • Be available for calls and admissions within a 20-minute timeframe
  • Collaborate with supportive services such as anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, and radiology
Qualifications
  • Must be US Board Certified
  • Requires active MI license, controlled substance license, and DEA
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required
  • Experience in adult procedures preferred including ventilation and intubation management
Working Hours
  • Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Expected coverage dates: 7/16 - 7/20, 8/6 - 8/10, 8/28 - 8/31
Skills
  • Proficient in inpatient adult care
  • Preferred skills include ICU management, intubation, and line placements
  • Comfortable with non-invasive ventilation techniques
  • Strong ability to interpret EKGs and provide acute care management
