An established community hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join its growing hospitalist program.This opportunity offers the chance to practice within a physician-led, 9-hospital healthcare system while enjoying a supportive team environment and excellent work-life balance.Opportunity Highlights

• Hospital privileges at a 114-bed community hospital
• Established hospitalist program inclusive of 8 physicians
• 7-on/7-off schedule
• Day shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Full spectrum specialty support including:
  • General Surgery
  • OBGYN
  • Cardiology
  • Urology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Nephrology
  • Hematology/Oncology
  • Pulmonology
  • Behavioral Health
  • Tele-Neurology
  • Tele-Infectious Disease
• 10-bed open ICU with Pulmonology coverage Monday through Friday
• Some ventilator management required
• Preferred procedures include:
  • Central lines
  • Paracentesis
  • Thoracentesis
  • Intubation
  • Procedures are welcomed but not required
• Convenient proximity to Greenville and Edenton, North Carolina, as well as the Tidewater Virginia area
