Assistant Medical Director Hospitalist Role in Rome, NY (50/50 Clinical/Admin)Full Time/Permanent PositionPosition Highlights50% clinical / 50% administrative roleAverage hours per weekLeadership opportunity within a growing hospitalist programWork closely with hospitalist team, nursing, and non-clinical staffContribute to program development, quality initiatives, and operational improvementsResponsibilitiesEnsure hospitalist compliance with policies and missionSupport quality and performance improvement effortsHelp with staffing, scheduling, and census managementProvide direct patient care as neededMentor and coach physicians on quality, professionalism, and communicationLead meetings with hospitalist team and APPsOversee onboarding and orientation of new providersAssist with evaluations and annual reviewsRepresent the hospitalist program in interdisciplinary and committee settingsSupport recruitment, budgeting, and documentation processesCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $292,000 $325,000 (based on experience)Medical, dental, and vision insuranceMalpractice coveragePaid time off & CME allowanceRetirement plans: 403(b) and 457(b)RequirementsBoard Certified in Internal MedicinePrior leadership or hospitalist experience strongly preferred
