Position Type: Permanent Physician - Hospitalist
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for a permanent Hospitalist position in Bakersfield, CA.
Practice Highlights
• Day Shift Hospitalist Position - 12-hour shifts
• Week On / Week Off Schedule for excellent work-life balance
• Closed ICU - No procedures and no code requirements
• Collaborative and supportive hospital team environment
• EMR - Cerner
Schedule & Coverage
• 12-hour daytime Hospitalist shifts
• Week On / Week Off rotation
• Long-term stability with minimum 2-year commitment required
Compensation & Benefits
• 1099 compensation structure
• Compensation: $160/hr or $1,920 per shift
• Additional Earnings: Optional night shifts available at $170/hr
• Stable, consistent schedule with predictable time off

Candidate Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - REQUIRED
• Active California Medical License - REQUIRED
