Job Description: Hospitalist - Full-time Position in Lake Charles, LA Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Lake Charles, LA. This full-time position offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $325,000, plus a $25,000 sign-on bonus, a $25,000 start bonus, and the potential for additional quarterly bonuses. This role features a 7-on/7-off schedule, allowing for an ideal work-life balance. Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.Perform patient assessments, manage acute conditions, and oversee the coordination of care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring continuity of care.Participate in daily rounds, including patient evaluation, management, and discharge planning.Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall efficiency of hospital as a consultant to other physicians and healthcare providers, offering expert advice on patient care.Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with medical advancements.
