• Board Certified: REQUIRED
• VA License: REQUIRED
• VA DEA: REQUIRED
• ACLS/BLS Certified: REQUIRED (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Local Provider: HIGHLY preferred
• Availability: 10-14 days/month HIGHLY preferred

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift 8p-8a
• Call Schedule: Flexible/May be able to accommodate 7on/7off
• Patient Population: Adult
• APP Coverage: Daytime only. No overnight APP coverage.
• Hospitalists Present During Shift: None
• Average Admissions Per Day: 8-12
• Average ICU Patients Per Day: Closed medical ICU (24 hr Intensivists responsible for admitting)
• Average Inpatient Patients Per Day: Total patient census runs 88+
• Overnight Admissions: 7-10 in addition to floor calls
• In-house Codes: None
• Rounding: No rounding; nocturnist responsible for floor calls across 7 units
• EMR: EPIC
• Facility Type: Community Hospital. Not a trauma center
