Hospitalist in Iowa University based setting 60 miles to University of Iowa 90 miles of bike trails, very diverse area 250 miles to Chicago Overview: Well established, 22-member team (18 Physicians & 4 Advanced Practitioners) and growing Excellent specialty support 12 Bed ICU with intensivist Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination Competitive salary, quality bonus potential, signing bonus and relocation options Full benefits: medical, vision, dental, 401K/457B, CME allowance & more Responsibilities: Average patients/day: 15-18 Admitting/Rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years of age and older (adult), & non-maternity Shifts available: 5 on/5 off- 12-hour Day shift 7A-7P and occasional swing shift 12P-12A Days/Weekends/Holidays - shared equally amongst group Established Tele-hospitalist 7A-7P with local providers 2 med floors, 1 cardio,1 surgical, and consult in rehab/mental health Can cover ICU and perform procedures if desired, but this is NOT a requirement Improve the health of the people and communities we serve Reference: 88858 J1 & H1B visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
